The documentary Por siempre, Myna is a love letter and farewell to a beloved mentor Myrna Casas from one of her disciples, Luis Caballero, now a filmmaker and respected director in New York City. 

Casas was Caballero’s muse. Together, they worked in La Gringa: A tale of a town and El color de la guayaba where Myrna is the lead. This documentary presents Casas’ last performance as an actress reciting Federico García Lorca, La corrida y la muerte de Ignacio Sanchez Mejias completing the the Caballero Casas trilogy.

In hopes of solving a financial crisis at home, Marysol, the youngest sibling and agronomy student, decides to dabble in the medical cannabis growing industry. When she faces its high costs and government regulations, she must convince her parents to start a clandestine operation at home while they can meet the legal requirements. The dysfunctional family then embarks on an adventure that promises to bring them closer as a family. But things get complicated when, due to lack of experience, they end up in business with the wrong people. Under the eye of the authorities and without realizing, this family will face their worst enemy: themselves.
